Customs advice for shipping to the UK
Customs requirements
The United Kingdom is no longer part of the European Union. This means that you will need to provide a customs declaration when you send parcels to the UK from France and your parcel may incur customs fees which will need to be paid by the recipient. You will also need to provide a commodity code/HS code for each item being shipped. You can find commodity codes on the UK Government website
If you’ve never completed a customs declaration before, don’t worry, when you book a parcel delivery service with Parcel Monkey, this is all taken care of during the booking process. We’ll ask you the relevant questions and provide you with the completed customs document to print and attach to your package.
If you’re an EU business exporting to the UK, you will be expected to provide additional information, including your business EORI number. You can find more information on shipping to the UK here https://www.gov.uk/eubusiness
